Positivity breeds positivity. It becomes contagious. So when we are positive, we attract positive vibes. Being human, life happens and sometimes we lose our positive mindset and need a little reset or guidance on building our positive mindset again. Here are just a few ways that I find really helpful when I need to build my positivity:
Practice Gratitude: daily gratitude helps you focus on what is good and when we pay gratitude to what we have currently, it creates a magnet affect in attracting more. I have been doing The Magic (The Secret) since last week. I am on Day 10 of daily gratitude and I have had amazing results already. By writing down every morning at least 3 things you are grateful for, you get a deeper sense of gratitude which improves your mindset.
Positive Self Talk: transform any negative self-talk into positive. Pay yourself a compliment each day. It doesn't have to be physical. It can be about your mind, your kindness, generosity or sense of humour. Mel Robbins encourages us to high five ourselves in the mirror every time you see yourself. Remember to treat yourself like your own best friend - be kind to yourself.
Surround yourself with Positive People: your vibe attracts your tribe. Have you ever heard of this? By using the law of the universe, when you surround yourself with positive people, it impacts your own mindset for the better. Similarly it would work in the opposite way. When we surround ourselves with positivity it raises our vibrations.
Be Present: when you focus on the present moment, it enables you to embrace life and really experience the space that you are in. All too often we spend too much time thinking of the future and not appreciating the present moment. We have limited control on the future, therefore just relax and enjoy the here and now.
Self Love: remember that you are enough. Allow yourself to be content with who you are and show yourself love. Believe in your own beauty and love within. That's what is really important.
